What our customers say
Retention views differ from ordinary ones in a single respect: each impression lasts a set interval, here 1–3 minutes, instead of cutting off after a few seconds. The counter under the video does not care, but the channel statistics do: average view duration rises and the watch time the platform credits accumulates.
The category has four plans: basic accounts, mixed, live, and a separate one with a United States audience. They carry 225 completed orders, 149 of them in the last 90 days. Below is when retention genuinely helps and when paying for it makes no sense.
Retention costs roughly twice what a plain impression costs, because you are paying for time rather than for the fact of opening. The minimum order is 100 views and the ceiling reaches a million.
| Plan | Per 100 | Per 1000 | Min / Max | Guarantee | Start |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Retention 1–3 minutes (Basic) | 25,90 UAH | 259 UAH | 100 / 1 000 000 | none | 0–24 hours |
| Retention (Mixed) | 28,90 UAH | 289 UAH | 100 / 1 000 000 | 30 days | 0–24 hours |
| Retention (Live) | 34,90 UAH | 349 UAH | 100 / 100 000 | 60 days | 0–12 hours |
| Retention, United States audience | 79,90 UAH | 799 UAH | 1 000 / 1 000 000 | none | 0–24 hours |
The United States plan costs three times the base rate and starts at a thousand views. It carries no guarantee — it is a made-to-order position for a specific job, not an everyday choice.
Each impression runs between one and three minutes; it is a range, not a fixed value. If the video is shorter, the impression is capped by its length — you cannot pull three minutes of viewing out of a two-minute clip.
The first practical consequence: the service is built for videos longer than three minutes. On short vertical clips it makes no sense, because watch time there is measured in seconds and the premium for retention buys nothing.
The usual reason for an order is building the watch time the partner programme requires, and the arithmetic is worth knowing before payment. At an average of two minutes, a thousand views yields roughly 33 hours. Reaching four thousand hours therefore takes on the order of one hundred and twenty thousand such views.
On the base plan that works out to something near twenty-four thousand hryvnia — an honest figure rather than a hidden one.
This category fits when you need to raise average view duration on specific videos, not close the whole programme threshold at once.
Three points of comparison. An ordinary view costs from 10 UAH per hundred and adds only to the number under the video. A retention view costs about twice as much and adds time along with the number. The third difference is the effect on statistics: plain impressions push average view duration down, retention impressions pull it up.
If the counter is the goal, there is no reason to pay more. If the goal is the retention metric that shows in analytics and that advertisers read, this category exists for it.
The separate plan with a United States audience matters in one situation: when viewer geography in the statistics is part of the job. That comes up with advertisers who read audience composition and when a channel is being prepared for an English-speaking market.
In every other case paying triple is not justified. The plan carries no guarantee and starts at a thousand views, so it cannot be sampled in a small portion.
Login details are not requested at any step.
The start window is 0–24 hours on the live plan and 0–24 on the others. Delivery runs slower than with ordinary views, and that is inherent to the service: every impression occupies minutes of real time, so a large volume physically cannot arrive within an hour.
For orders in the tens of thousands, allow several days. If the result is needed by a specific date, place the order early rather than counting on peak speed.
The mixed plan carries 30 days of cover and the live plan 60. Cover means a refill if the counter falls below the delivered value: we compare the starting value, the volume and the current number, and top it back up once a drop is confirmed.
The basic plan and the United States plan have no guarantee. Cover applies to the number of views, not to accumulated hours — written-off watch time is not restored.
Two figures rise after delivery: the view count and the average view duration. The second one is the point of the service — it shows that viewers stayed rather than leaving in the first second.
The traffic source will still read as external or direct. That panel is not falsified, and ordered impressions cannot be passed off as recommendations on any plan.
A suitable video meets three conditions: longer than three minutes, public, and keeping the same link through delivery. The fourth condition is unwritten — the content has to justify the retention. If a ten-minute video is normally watched for twenty seconds, a metric lifted to two minutes will stand out sharply against the channel's other uploads.
The service sits best on tutorials, reviews and breakdowns, where long viewing is natural, and worst on short entertainment clips, where viewers leave quickly by the nature of the format.
On playlists and premieres: the link points to one video. A playlist cannot be ordered, and impressions cannot be spread across videos — each needs its own order.
Read two figures in the video's statistics: the view count and the average view duration. The first confirms delivery, the second confirms retention actually rose. Measure before ordering and after completion, or there is nothing to compare against.
The second-by-second retention graph is worth a look too. Ordered impressions usually show a flat line through the first minutes and a sharp drop where the retention interval ends. That is the normal shape for this service, and knowing it in advance saves mistaking it for a fault.
Average view duration is one of the few channel figures advertisers ask for directly. Subscriber count speaks to size; retention speaks to whether the content is finished, and it decides whether an ad insert is seen at all.
The practical conclusion: a channel preparing for advertising should raise this metric rather than the view counter. But mind the boundary — ordered impressions do not bring real viewers, and promising an advertiser returns based on a lifted metric is not honest business.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Plans in the category | 4 |
| Completed orders, total | 225 |
| Of those, in the last 90 days | 149 |
| Most ordered in the last 90 days | Live — 142 orders |
| Price range per 100 | 25,90 – 79,90 UAH |
| Longest guarantee | 60 days |
Note that almost all recent demand sits on the live plan even though it is not the cheapest.
Need the retention metric on specific videos and a result that holds — the live plan with 60 days of cover, which is what most buyers take. Need volume on a tight budget and a dip is tolerable — the basic plan. Need a United States audience in the statistics — the separate plan, but deliberately and from a thousand views up.
And check the one thing that matters before paying: the video must run longer than three minutes, or the service loses its point.
